Getting started

This is a guide made for all those new Runescape players.

Here are a few words you will be getting from people a lot when you start to play.N00b, noob, newbie, n0ob, newbee, and so on. Later you probably will be giving these unkind words to those low level players. This to me is really rude. EVeryone started at lvl 3 Or rs1, in the begining, you start at lvl5. Everyone has been a new player. So if you get these words from players, just ignore them.

Scams. People who does these stuffs are scammer. THey will be banned if runescape staff catches them. They go around and try to fool other players to do something for them or taking some thing from you. A good example would be armor upgrading. I had at least 3 people came to me and said that. Don't full for it, there is no such thing as armor upgrade or enchanting armor. If anyone is doing this, report them immediately. scams can also happen in trades. People sometimes show you a item, you want to trade them, when you accpet, they take the item away and you don't know it. So the best way is to be calm and make sure you don't trade something for nothing.ALso if you get a deal that is too good to be true, you better watch out. 

Training. Training any skills in rs is the main thing you are going to do. There are more info in other guides. Visit them if you want to know more about it.

Making money is something you want to know how. It is hard in the beginning when you start to kill NPC and get money. There are a lot of places in rs where you can get money on the ground. They spawn in bank in vorrock or at sewer. It is important to have coins in ur pocket because you will need them to buy stuff. For more info, visit Making money page.

Once you have enough skills and you know enough things about runescape, you should join a clan. Joining a clan is optional. There are different types of clans. There are skill based clan, Pk Clan, and a clan with both of them. Phoenix clan of runescape is one of the clans with both of the pk and skill clan. Many clan allow players from all level to join while other clan such as this runescape clan have requirements. Most clan that accept all players from all level usually contain mass of inactive new players that decided to quit after they played a while. This is really bad because u have bunch of useless players on ur clan list. But of course there are still some active members. Best way for u to join a clan is start with a clan that allows all players to join. Once you get good, join other clan that have reqirements. For us, you need to be 75+ in combat or 65+ range or magic. You will also need to have full rune or dragon to join this clan.
