This clan
started on We allowed
all players to join the clan. After a while, some of us advanced while
other didn¡¯t (newbies that stopped). We then raised our requirement to
49+ combat. I also posted at a lot of places where I can recruit
players. After a while, our clan site was on google¡¯s directory. We
were in the Runescape Clan section list. Unfortunately, the person who
put our web in the directory had misspelled our clan name. Instead of
spelling ¡° Since Google and a lot of other search engines had picked up our clan site. I stop posting at forum for recruiting since we have daily visitor everyday. There are normally 2 new visitors per day. The hit counter is low because I just restart it. It started on July 25/ 2004. This clan had 2 wars. One is major while the other one is minor. The minor one came first. It started when some of our clan members had conflicts with this noob clan. We were in the wilderness while this other group came along. Our level was in the same range but they kept saying that they are more superior. The two groups didn¡¯t fight until we found out that we were two different clans. Their clan name was ¡°The red skeleton clan¡±. After a
long argument, he finally decided that we should end this with a clan
war. The war took place in wilderness number 40. It was west of the
wild. I can¡¯t remember the date but I know it was in August 2002. We
only had 20 members at that time, but they were all active. 16 members
came to the war and I called a few of my friends. It was around Before we get to our next war, we had other events. First, some of us got Party hats and we had a drop party. I got mine for 2 rune 2h. One 2hander at that time cost around 150k. I also add other small rune items to the deal. In total, it cost me around 400k. Our friend, kappaboy29 got around 4 party hats. He showed me one day when we were at Fally. He had blue, yellow, Pink and I think it was green. It is too bad that he doesn¡¯t go online as often as he used to. If he sold those hats now, he probably would make more than 10 million gp. We had a
drop party as I was saying. It wasn¡¯t a big drop party, but it was
enough for everyone who came. I drop around 30 steel plates. We also
drop a lot of The second war was in 2003. This time, most of us had full rune, some pures wore full mith or addy. It started almost the same thing, except it began at the drawfen mine. It was between one of us and a higher level miner. At that time, you have to keep clicking to get coals. It was boring and tiring. So our clan member (not named) was mining the same rock as the other guy. The higher level player got a big piss not getting the coals that ¡°he¡± told him to get lost. You probably know what happened next. Anyways, because of that, it let to a war. A war at that time for us wasn¡¯t a good thing; most of our members weren¡¯t so active. (Probably at school) I counted our active members were around 6. We had no choice but to call our friends to help. (They weren¡¯t in a clan so it wouldn¡¯t consider alliance help) In total, we had around 25 people. Some of them were my friends. A lot were in their seventies (level, not age). It went on like last time, except there was a lot of pks and noobs selling lobs there. That made it frustrating because we couldn¡¯t kill them fast enough. The pks were also attacking anyone that they see. Most pks were rangers and mage. Before we got in to the ¡°big fight¡±, I told our low level players to get rid of the noobs that was selling the food. Most noobs were level 5 and 6. We fought for more than 2 and a half hour. It always appeared to have so many people there. After I ran out of food, I told my clan members that I was going to log out. Two hours after I log out, I came back. It was the same amount of people as I left 2 hours earlier. More than half of our clan members and friends logged out. Our enemies were still around when I check them, but I wasn¡¯t sure how many there were. I logged out again and came back in one hour. This time, more people were gone. I found 7 of us and 2 of our enemies wearing full rune. I didn¡¯t know who really won until later they told me that a lot of members from both sides died a few times. We had more people that were standing in the wild than they had, so we consider that we won. Unfortunately, there were a lot of pks, so we couldn¡¯t decide who really did win because pks were killing everyone. The next day, I was training in the Vorrock. ¡°You know, maybe next time we shouldn¡¯t fight in world 1,¡± He told me. ¡°LOL, maybe we should choose the laggy world next time,¡± I answered. When September started that year, I was considered inactive for one year. We didn¡¯t do much other than training on our skills. In June 2004, I came back and decided to change our website. It was in a mess because our web host had different ads in different sides. It moved our pictures around. Here is our old site home page. I added a lot of our new members to the member list. I also raised the requirement twice in 2 month. The first one, I raised it to level 60+ combat or level 65+ skills. The second time, I add 10 levels to both of the requirements. I also add the clan forum for our site. Unfortunately, most of our clan members didn¡¯t want to sign up there. Some prefer just posting in our Bravenet board or e-mail each other. Those who signed up didn¡¯t post much on our clan forum. I guess there weren¡¯t much to talk about. LOL It wasn¡¯t until this year that I decided to have a clan inner circle. There were seats to grab in the inner circle. We had vice leader, war general and 5 councilors. There are still some spots left. Also in July this year, I cut the clan member list. The list now is half as short as before. A lot of members in the clan weren¡¯t as active and didn¡¯t have enough requirements to for to stay. Those people who are still in the clan are either of combat level of 60 or one of his/her skills was over 65. This year Runescape also had been modified. Rs2 came out around beginning of this year. The whole graphic changed and with a lot of minor changes in different skills. Most of our members¡¯ combat went up by 2 or 3. My second account combat went up by 5. Right after the change, a lot of players in their level 60s wanted to join. August 23, 2004. I have just taken out more than 2/3 or our original member list. They were either inactive in the past little while or their levels were under 70. There were around 5 70+ players taken out of our list. Remember to stay active on our clan forum:) That¡¯s all I am going to say so far. The difference you make tomorrow could be on our history list. Have fun and remember, mess with the best, die like the rest :) ¡¡ |
