Making money is one of the most important
thing in RS. This allows you to BUY things from store and from other people.
Although there are a lot of ways you can do it, but I would always suggest you
do the fastest way.
There are a lot of ways you can make money
fast. But sometimes it depend on how much you need. For new players, you
probably wouldn't need much because you can only wear those cheap armors and
weapons. For high level players, their goals wouldn't be buying armors and
weapons anymore. What they want are rare items and that is one of the hardest
things to do. For example, the yellow party hat is worth around 3 million gp. If
we do the way new players does, then it probably is going to take years.
Anyways, here are some of the ways you can
make money. I will post more later on.
One of the fastest way to make a lot of
money is to mine coal or smith items. If your mining is over 30 but your
smithing level isn't high enough, I would suggest you sell the coals. The
current price for coal is around 150 each. It used to be more expensive but
due to faster mining now, it is cheaper.
Smithing and get money is only good if you
have around 60+ in smithing. Till then, you get more money by smithing items
than mining and selling to other people. For many new players, I would
suggest you mine copper and tin. The reason is that you can't mine coal in
the beginning and no one ( not a lot) buys them anyways, might as well train
smithing on them. Later sell them at different armor or weapon
stores.
Crafting is another one of those fast way
of making money. Unfortunately it won't happen until you reach 40 mining.
Till then, you will have to train on making other leather armors. When you
reason 40 mining, you can mine gold. Then you make necklaces or rings out of
them and sell them at stores.
Some of the best way to get free
cash to from picking up item that spawns and sell them at specific store.
Most good items are in the wild. But you can die easily when you are low
level. There are PKs and monsters in the wild that will attack you. So I
wouldn't recommend you brining anything to the wild. There is a sapphire
around level 43 wilderness. That is where most high level pks are. If you
are like level 10, you shouldn't have a problem getting what you want
because PKs can't attack you. Sapphire is inside of the sapphire house
( you need to check the map) they are worth around 400 gp each. Don't sell
them at stores because they are worth 20 each in the store. Sell them at
different banks to the players.
